Snow can make even little weed tops look interesting, I think. The snow had quite a bit of ice in it instead of being fluffy flakes so it really was sparkly
I really like the way these shadows looked on the snow. And find it sort of odd, since I don't know much about light, that instead of looking gray, they really did look blue. Maybe it was reflecting the sky which was a wonderful clear blue.
And more shadows. It would be lovely if the streets could clear but the ground could stay all pretty and fresh.

So pretty. Luckily, the snow is going to miss us after all. It was a close call.
Snow is THE hardest thing to photograph and you did wonderfully. :)
So pretty!
Those are SUCH cool pictures, Susan! I love the play of light and shadows .. you did a great job!
Thanks y'all! I wish now that I'd taken the Christmas scarves out and took a pic of them on the snow. I shall look for a place that's sheltered.
I love that hat!
Isn't the snow delightful? I was noticing the bluish tint too, when I was in Sunriver this weekend. And I love how its glistens in the sunlight....
Great snow pictures!!! I thought we might get some but we didn't....
I'm soooo jealous
Hugs!!!!
Well you wouldn't be jealous now unless you really like muddy doggie pawprints on the kitchen floor :-)
