National Cocoa Day

It's true...I read it on the web this morning. So I'll try to remember that until tonight and then can celebrate in a proper way!

Christmas is coming right along. All the mailable stuff is ready to go to the car and hopefully will find it's way to the post office soon. Or not. Somehow just getting it all boxed up made me think I was finished with that. And most of the cards are addressed. Some of them will find their way to the mail today for sure since they can go in the drop box. But some of them "require extra postage" but I have no idea how much. So that will have to be an inside the post office task.

I think all dog bones are baked. There are still packages to be wrapped and bones to be bagged for my local FOC but I have time to do that so I'm feeling much relieved.

I've started the last gift (and it doesn't have to be done on time). I'm making house socks out of Plymouth Jelli Beanz using #5 needles. It's 75% acrylic and 25% wool and is soooo soft and easy to knit. Short tops because I'm not quite sure how much a skein will make. One sock is ready for the foot and the other is ready for the heel to be turned. The one I'm using is a bright green with multi colored other stuff...blues, fushia, yellow in it. Very happy yarn and I think they are going to be quite comfy. No pics yet. I need to get batteries for the camera (adding to list)

Oatmeal time now. Hope your day is just what you want it to be

Sure Cookie, all the time in the world! I kind of cheated and have been bringing home boxes from work so that part was easy.
I'm having extra cocoa now. Want to be sure and do it up right *G*

Ouch Vicki! I'm thinking some of your giftees need IOUs. Yes, I have what I think is a good and easy and fun recipe.
And some dogs I know like them very much LOL. I'll email it to you.

Oh Cat, I'm sure there will be plenty of time in between hair and party. Do I get to see a pic of you all dressed up fancy?

Blast! I missed it! Well, I did contemplate buying some on the way home yesterday. Does that count?
